(Jim) Kozel Guitars:
I build electrics, Midi electrics, and hybrid electrics. My hybrid electrics have piezo acoustic string saddles installed. That enables you to get your magnetic pickup sound, a piezo acoustic sound or a blend of both. When Midi capabilities are added, the possibilities are endless. Imagine playing a guitar that can give you acoustic, electic, any synth sound or a combination of all three at the flick of a switch during the same performance. If you use a loop devise such as the Boomerang, it really gets interesting. I work by appointment.

Kritz Guitars:
I was convinced that all of our research had to be focussed on making of guitars out of old wood and old aged magnets for the pickups. The combination of wood that has been "dead" for more than 100 years with our special hand wound, aged pickups provides an astonishing sound. In fact I love to look at the figures in the wood and I personally find them more attractive when the finish is transparent. We learned how to deal with that totally new concept.

Kunkel Guitars:
Because of his great knowledge of guitar making and his excellent skills, Gibson entrusted Bruce with the restoration of priceless, historic instruments such as Chet Atkins? DeAngelico Excel that Chet played on all his early recordings. Spending a great deal of time with these important guitars has given him a deeper understanding of what makes them great and this knowledge he has brought to his own guitar making. Bruce left the employ of the Gibson Company in January 2003, to pursue his own guitar designs and to have greater control over his total product. Bruce considers his time at Gibson to have been a unique opportunity to dedicate himself to exploring all aspects of The Art Guitar.
