Also, companies want to build some buzz before the product hits the market. I was ready to try and buy one the first time I saw the ad. Shame on the folks at Hammond for advertising "vapor" products for so long. When my sales rep at my local music store contacted Hammond, they said it would be released around Thanksgiving. That was in roughly August. Guys, really...don't advertise it if you're not ready to release it. This experience was much like the beginning of the Personal Computer revolution in which software companies would advertise their "vaporware" sometimes for more than a year before release. If I get one now, I'll probably just wait for Behringer to clone it for half the price and buy it. Please pass along my sincere "thanks for nothing" to Hammond.
