The head cabinet has been redesigned, giving the amp a whole new look. Check it out at www.peoplesamp.com

I just recently played the People's Amp and let me tell you, its as good as gold. I have never played a more responsive amp. You seriously "feel" this amp. I play a schecter C-1 Classic and with a Boss distortion pedal and compression of course, it can be turned into a metal amp able to play anything from Tool to Dream Theater. Without pedals, and the volume all the way up letting the tubes saturate, the amp gets a full natural distortion, capable of playing Zeppelin or early Rush.

Of course, there is limited control with the knobs, but with this amp two knobs is all you need. Turn the volume up and you get a rich distortion, and the tone knob can add some add a serious bite, as well as control the treble that this amp exibits.

Dont let this homemade look fool you, this amp is killer and the price is just right for the quality.

I got the privilege to play the people's amp for the first time yesterday, and let me tell you all, this amp is as good as gold. The amp responded to everything I did on my guitar. Each note seemed clear and articulate, not muddy and strung together like most commercial amps. When turned up all the way, it sounded like a great blues style amp, and with a little bit of added distortion from a pedal, it became the metal amp I was looking for.

Plus, Karl is just a great guy. Period. I would not want to buy an amp from anyone else but him.

I will be buying the People's Amp as soon as I get the money for it thats for sure.

I've had my amp for a few months now. Still solid--never had a problem. Hopefully, I'll record with it soon and post a link.

i talked to karl via email back and forth several times and that guy is as good as gold. he is really trying to get great tone into regular folks hands. as soon as my vocation picks up again and i have a little disposable capital, i will buy one. the 18 watt is the way to go. i am building my own version as we speak.

The guy who makes them, Karl, lives in Columbus. I tried one out at his house and ordered one on the spot. If you're into the small amp turned up sound, this is a great way to go.
